Pilot Case Study
From spreadsheets to audit-ready evidence in 4 weeks
A Southeast Asian rubber processor needed to demonstrate EUDR compliance across dozens of smallholder suppliers. Here's how the pilot went.

Pilot Timeline
Four weeks from kickoff to audit-ready
Week 1
Data connection
Mapped existing supplier records, GPS coordinates, and land-title documents into ResourceLedger. No rip-and-replace — ingested from existing spreadsheets and GIS exports.
Week 2
First governance signals
Automated completeness checks flagged 34% of supplier records as missing geolocation precision. Governance signals surfaced gaps before any filing attempt.
Week 3
Evidence package generation
Produced the first tamper-proof, fingerprinted evidence package covering boundary validation, deforestation cross-reference, and chain-of-custody attestations.
Week 4
Audit simulation
Ran a mock regulatory inquiry against the evidence package. Every record traceable, every correction logged, every governance signal explainable.
Context
Why this processor needed a different approach
The processor sources natural rubber from 40+ smallholder suppliers across three provinces. Prior to the pilot, their EUDR preparation relied on consultant-assembled spreadsheets with GPS points, scanned land titles, and email-based supplier declarations.
The core problem: none of this evidence was structured, none was tamper-proof, and none could demonstrate a chain of custody from plot to shipment. An auditor would have to reconstruct the compliance story manually.
ResourceLedger replaced the assembly process — not the data sources. The same GPS coordinates, land titles, and supplier attestations were ingested, validated for completeness, and locked into an immutable evidence package with full provenance.
